YouTube revenue calculator

Plan long-form earnings with creator RPM (what you keep per 1,000 monetized views), not advertiser CPM. Results are an estimate range. YouTube does not guarantee income, and this calculator is not affiliated with YouTube.

Example: 4.00 typical RPM on 100,000 monetized views is $400. Defaults are editable illustrations, not official YouTube rates.

Default example typical estimate: $400.00 (low $150.00, high $1,000.00).

Use views that could be eligible for ads, not raw impressions.

Conservative example for lower-advertising niches or mixed geographies.

Mid-range example commonly cited by talking-head and commentary creators.

Upper planning example for stronger advertiser demand; not a ceiling.

Leave blank if you only want a revenue range for the views above.

Currency: USD. RPM defaults are illustrative examples.

Method

How the estimate is calculated

Formula: estimated creator revenue = monetized views ÷ 1,000 × creator RPM. Creator RPM is earnings per thousand monetized views, not advertiser CPM.

Low, typical, and high RPM fields produce a range because real payouts move with audience location, advertiser demand, seasonality, eligible views, music use, content suitability, and YouTube Partner Program status. YouTube does not guarantee earnings.

Long-form RPM should not be reused on Shorts views. Compare the two calculators only as separate planning tools.

This calculator is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube. Last reviewed 2026-09-15.

FAQ

It multiplies monetized views by creator RPM and divides by 1,000. Low, typical, and high RPM fields produce a range. Change the defaults; they are illustrative, not official YouTube rates.
